Student testimonials
This program has a realistic approach to art-making and the life of the artist: both are full of challenges and require great resources for success. –Erin Morelock
The MFA in photography program is allowing me to learn from some of the best working and dedicated professionals in the field, and to some day soon teach my own class as a MFA student. This program is unique in that it focuses on the union of historic photographic processes and digital imaging capabilities. –Aris Sandoval
The program has a unique mix of intensive group seminars and individualized meetings, as well as a variety of choice in electives. The visiting artist program is particularly valuable, providing informed outside perspectives and important connections within the greater artistic community. –Lindsay Rogers
This program is creating a new path in the medium of photography, theory, and practice; I simply wanted to be here at the beginning of a program that is innovative. This program I believe is unrivaled in its depth of fostering those relationships between the students, AIB, and its visiting artist. –Michael Donnor
At AIB there is a commitment to individual goals. The instructors are flexible, take time to know who you are and what it is you need to achieve the best personal education. This individualized approach paired with access to a wide range of instructors who are also practicing photographers with expertise in a variety of genres make AIB the ideal place to earn an MFA in photography. –Jess Somers
