The Department of Visual Arts within the Division of Arts and Humanities at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The Department seeks a candidate who will participate in broadening and enriching its programs and facilities in media, which include a commitment to next-generation media production and advanced visualization technology. The Department is especially interested in candidates whose work traverses conventional compartmentalization and demonstrates a clear sense of interdisciplinary possibility in a global context. Teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. MFA or equivalency and teaching experience required.
