NYU Steinhardt’s MFA in Studio Art program offers students the opportunity to study with accomplished artists and scholars within an interdisciplinary setting. The two-year program provides students with private studios and access to facilities in painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, digital media, and sculpture.

The MFA Program admits only 10 students each year, allowing a uniquely experimental dialogue to emerge between students and faculty. The program includes an eclectic mix of theory and practice, weekly visiting artists and curators, global courses, teaching, and exhibition opportunities, including the MFA Thesis Exhibitions, which are held in late spring at the Department’s 80WSE Galleries in New York City’s Greenwich Village.
