Corner of SW 11th and Jefferson
Portland, Oregon
The PASPWACS is a brand-new series of presentations by people and organizations related to Art and Social Practice including artists, nonprofits, writers, and architects. The presentations are free and open to the public and take place at Field Work (an off-site social practice classroom and civic space located at the corner of SW 11th and Jefferson in Portland, Oregon) on Wednesdays at 1pm PST, and are streamed live and archived as a podcast. The presentations function as extended question and answer sessions with an expectation that participants and listeners will educate themselves in advance about the work of the presenters. The series is coordinated by Portland State University associate professor Harrell Fletcher and run by the graduate students of the Portland State University Art and Social Practice MFA program. For more information, streaming presentations, and archived podcasts go to: www.psusocialpractice.org.
