Informed by their rigorous explorations of objects, language, the body and space, the five graduating seniors of the PCA Fine Arts and Photography departments, Heather Beaumont, Kristina Chan, Jiyoon Chang, Elena Gileva, and Kaamna Patel, will present an exhibition that activates images, materials and movements with questions of context and identity. The new work that the students have developed for their final show reflects their studies and experiences in Paris, their international backgrounds, as well as their uniquely enunciated voices, each speaking clearly from a very particular place.
End of year and Louboutin Project exhibition

Earlier this year the students of Paris College of Art were challenged by Christian Louboutin to create work on a secret theme. The results of this project as well as the work of students from all disciplines will be on exhibit in this school-wide show.

The graduating seniors: Maram Aboulenein, Diana Christie, Alysha Dalamal, Juliana Fadl, Sayanna Gonzalez, Alexandra Lloyd will each show their capsule collections that are the culminating work of their four-year program. Leading up to the show the seniors’ collections will be reviewed by a jury made up of leaders in the industry including Yiqing Yin, Jury President; Benjamin Galopin of Citizen K; fashion blogger Lily Templeton; Hans de Foor, Designer and Teacher, IFM; Hervé Dewintre, fashion insider; Laure Vernier, headhunter; photographer Ali Madavi; Nicole Bernardo of Le Bon Marché, Caroline Taix, AFP; and Rachid Aouli, Associated Press.
