The White Building is a centre for art, technology and sustainability based in London. Run by SPACE, the centre acts as an incubator for discursive and innovative thought, functioning as a testing ground for ideas developed by artists, writers, philosophers, architects, urbanists, designers and scientists.

The programme is led and and curated by Omar Kholeif, and is anchored by an international residency programme unique amongst UK institutions, which supports emerging and mid-career artists to produce new work that engages with art, technology and sustainability.

In 2013–2014, the residency artists are: Lawrence Abu Hamdan (UK/Jordan), Sam Ashby (UK), Zach Blas (USA), Jesse Darling (UK), Constant Dullaart (NL/DE), Klas Eriksson (SE) Fabienne Hess (UK/CH), Jon Rafman (CA), Jamie Shovlin (UK), and Jacob Stenman (SE). Two further residency artists, delivered in partnership with Eyebeam, New York and Lux, London will be announced in November.
