The Stamps School of Art & Design invites applications for the following faculty searches:
Associate Dean for Research, Creative Practice and Strategic Initiatives
We are seeking candidates with research and administrative experience who can provide strategic vision and operational oversight of research and creative activities at the School and oversee the initiation and implementation of strategic initiatives that further the goals and objectives of the School, including national and international engagement. Candidates for this senior academic administrative position must meet the qualifications for appointment at the faculty rank of Professor of Art and Design, with tenure. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2014 or September 1, 2014.
Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Design (three openings)
We are seeking qualified candidates for three full-time tenure-track/tenured faculty positions in design to be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor. Candidates should have research, creative practice and teaching experience/abilities in two or more of the following areas: product / object design; experience design; information design; service/social design; design strategy; design innovation; design technology; interaction design; complex systems design; and materials design. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2014.
