This fall, join us at the Barney Building in New York City’s East Village for open studios, information sessions, visiting artist lectures, and exhibitions. Our six-story building houses studios, galleries, and performance and lecture spaces, and is located at 34 Stuyvesant Street just east of Third Avenue at 9th Street in New York City. All events at the Barney Building unless otherwise noted.
Information sessions for prospective students
All Graduate Programs in Art and Art Professions
Wednesday, October 30, 6–8pm
M.F.A./M.A. programs in Studio Art; Visual Arts Administration; Art Therapy; Art Education; Art, Education, and Community Practice; and Costume Studies. Meet with program directors and representatives from the NYU Steinhardt Graduate Admissions Office.

B.F.A. in Studio Art: Portfolio Review Day
Saturday, November 9 at 1pm
One-on-one portfolio review, an opportunity to meet current B.F.A. students and faculty, and a tour of Department facilities.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
