The Department of Design at Bergen Academy of Art and Design (KHiB) has a vacancy for a
full-time position as professor / associate professor in design focusing on illustration for a fixed term of six years from 1 August 2014.
KHiB invites active illustrators with a high-profile career in illustration to apply for the position.
KHiB is looking for a professor / associate professor with expertise in the field of illustration who has ambitions when it comes to expanding and testing the limits of illustration practice, and who is interested in and open to a variety of forms of expression and media. Applicants should have wide-ranging practical experience, a strongly contextualised practice and the ability to see illustration in a larger historical, social and communicative context.
