The 2014 Master of Fine Arts exhibition of the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the culmination of up to three years of creative research and practice. Along with a written thesis, this exhibition functions as a pedagogical space in which objects, images and ideas are positioned to propose questions and sustain dialogue. The craft of these arguments and the mastery of materials evidenced in their creative works reveal the commitment that these artists and designers have made to their chosen field of study—they are good at what they do and they have something interesting to say. The School of Art and Design celebrates their achievement!
