Christie’s Education: Where art history and the art market meet
Christie’s Education in London and New York are currently accepting applications for their 2015–16 degree programs.
Christie’s Education emphasizes the importance of direct contact with original works of art, and through the use of Christie’s salerooms and specialist staff, enhance students’ exploration of the history of art. Offering undergraduate degrees, Master’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, Christie’s Education provides students with the opportunity to study works firsthand at Christie’s auction houses as well as in public and private collections where students meet art world professionals including dealers, art advisors, and museum staff. All programs provide a unique insight into the art market as well as a cultural and art-historical framework for object-based learning.
Christie’s Education, New York is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Commissioner of Education in their capacity as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
Christie’s Education, London is accredited by the University of Glasgow, a member of the prestigious Russell Group.
