With collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving, the MFA in Collaborative Design invites students to take an entrepreneurial and critical approach to addressing 21st century challenges such as resource depletion, emerging technologies, climate change, and global demographic shifts.

The MA in Critical Theory and Creative Research claims critical theory as a creative project of analysis and exposure radically interested in accountability and the material effects of ideas. Its combination of critical theory and creative research encourages students not only to critique but also to intervene, re-imagine, and remake.

Supporting the idea that a print can be an image, object, or take on site-specific concerns, the MFA in Print Media facilitates a studio practice that is both independent and collaborative. Print Media’s Lab is an epicenter of intense making and professional collaboration, crossing pathways into commercial applications, education, and fine art.

The Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies is an individualized, self-designed, mentor-based program. It’s longer degree-completion times, flexible schedules, lower costs, and the distance-learning component make it suitable for creative professionals as well as independent artists seeking a new career path.

The MFA in Applied Craft and Design fosters a forward-thinking model of art and design education. The two-year program merges the highest level of craft with design practice and entrepreneurial strategies.
