To respond to a growing demand from the market of specialized professionals in the cultural field, IED presents its educational offer in Art and Design and launches a special contest (www.creativecontexts.com) aimed at awarding the best candidates with dedicated scholarships to attend its master’s degrees starting next 2017
Thanks to the prestigious collaboration with renowned partners such as the Venice Biennale, Independents Curators International, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Yarat Contemporary Art Space (Azerbaijan), Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Pinchuk Art Centre (Ukraine), OUTdoor Festival (Rome),Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi (Venice), MIBAC, and many more… providing lecturers and internship opportunities, IED students will have privileged access to big international institutions and museums and will be able to manage cultural projects or start their own company or work in the non-profit sector.
IED Educational Offer in Art is curated by Igor Zanti (IED Venezia director, Curator and Art Critic, Founder and Head of Jury of Premio Arte Laguna) together with course coordinators and lecturers such as:

In order to attract and motivate young talents willing to expand their skill to enter the continuously demanding art industry, IED is launching a special contest that will award the best candidates with a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee for the upcoming Master’s Degrees starting next year.
Business For Arts And Culture – Master
IED Venezia, 1 year full time, March intake
The Master provides an in-depth theoretical preparation, combined with a creative and managerial vision allowing students to define and manage specific projects and/or create start-ups within the cultural sphere.
Arts Management – Master
IED Firenze and IED Roma, 1 year full time, January intake
The Master in Arts Management is aimed at shape a central figure for the life of cultural institutions, engaged in art project management, capable of identifying innovative content, of structuring a comprehensive event schedule, of planning and developing fundraising events and resource management. Truly unique due to its itinerant formula, the study plan is divided in the two prestigious locations of Florence and Rome, with the addition of Venice, with a one week workshop.
Curatorial Practice – Master
IED Venezia, 1 year full time, March intake
The Master in Curatorial Practice, coordinated by Miguel Amado, tackles in a very pragmatic and thorough approach design, curatorship and management of artistic (and not only) exhibitions, training effective professionals.
Contemporary Art Conservation – 1st Level Masters Degree
Como and Venezia, 1 year full time, March intake
Master in Contemporary Art Conservation is focused on contemporary art conservation and the restoration of used materials. The participants attend frontal lessons, workshops and technical labs, held by professionals, both in Como and Venice; moreover they have the chance to visit worldwide famous museums and institutions.
