Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading centres for contemporary art, is seeking a new Head of Public Programmes and Research to lead on the development of its acclaimed cross-disciplinary programme of events (lectures, symposia, study groups, screenings, exhibition talks, conferences, etc), which connect and expand on Nottingham Contemporary’s ambitious artistic programme and its location in the city.
The Public Programme is made possible by an innovative funding partnership with the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, which reflects both Universities’ roles in the early development of the organisation and goals around widening participation and social impact.
As Head of Public Programmes and Research, you will manage day to day relationships with both universities and contribute to the development and supervision of the public programme and research programme, and the future development of student placements and course modules.
With strong self-initiative, your excellent relationship management skills will mean you are a natural collaborator with a flair for written and verbal communication.
