Proposal for interactive installation “How much spices?” by Mirna Arsovska

A: TEHNICAL DESCRIPTION 1. Exhibition space Large enough space / hall, separated in tree colored segments: black, grey, white 2. Objects / elements * TV monitor placed on mobile construction, DVD player * few “divans” – sofas (moment of hedonism), placed on mobile construction (simply with wheels), and covered with different colorful blankets and pillows (red, green, pink, blue…) * Video arts*: About 10 video arts / stories screened on monitor, with selection through interactive menu * Information flayer with blog web address, and information that they (spectators) of “real” and “virtual” space can make a comments about stories, discover the real locations on Google earth map, and find “how much spices” the stories have.

B: DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK / FORM OF INTERACTION AN ROLE OF THE SPECTATORS 1. Interaction with exhibition space Interaction with exhibition space of potential spectators are choosing a colors and gammas of space and sofas, depending of their attitude to the stories and mood situations ( with possibility to change the set-ups in any time) 2. Choosing a video story 3. On-line possibility to comment and discovering the authenticity and credible of the stories (…of course if they like to do that.. * stories: 1. origin of the “éclair” cake is France. But in the story, the protagonist (I), is in the Turkish candy shop in Turkish Bazaar in my town Skopje , Macedonia and make discussion about German or Turkish origin of the cake, about similarity of pronunciation the word éclair in that languages. 2. Love story about Kemal Ataturk (Father of the modern Turkey) and one girl Heleni from Bitola, Macedonia in the period when he attend a army school there. 3. Me in my studio trying to activate a remote-control on my trunk sculpture reading manuals 4. Invented, almost aggressive action on the street 5. Meditative view from beautiful mountain… ….ETC
