The Phair Photo Art Fair

The Phair—Photo Art Fair 2024 is coming. The Phair will take place from May 3–5, 2024 in Torino (preview May 2).
THE PHAIR is addressed to some of the leading contemporary art galleries—and not necessarily only to those already specialized in photography—that, on the occasion of the fair, showcase an artistic project related to the theme of the image and art works created with photographic or video material.
The fair is characterized by the choice to offer equal spaces for all, ensuring a “tailor-made” setting, innovating the traditional fair structure and suggesting new methods of understanding and analysis of the artworks proposed.
An annual appointment dedicated to the language of photography welcoming national and international galleries, whose artistic projects reflect on the function and role of the image in a changing society, encouraging dialogue between different visions and perspectives.
Amazing news involves a change of location. For the first time the majestic Sala Fucine, an iconic area of OGR Torino, will welcome the galleries of the Fair.
The Curatorial Board involves an international team of professionals composed by Emilio Bordoli (Collector, Como), Lorenzo Bruni (Curator, Rome) Brandei Estes (Art Advisor, London), Benjamin and Steffi Jaeger (Gallerists, Berlin), Emanuele Norsa (Gallerist, Milan), Massimo Prelz Oltramonti (Collector, London, Turin) and Carla Testore (Curator, Turin).
The visual identity of the fifth edition is Blue Vignette 4, a black and white photograph with spray painting by the South African artist Robin Rhode.
To emphasize the strong connection between Turin and photography, the new International Photography Festival will be inaugurated this year. EXPOSED Torino Foto Festival (May 2–June 2, 2024) will feature an extensive programme of more than 25 temporary exhibitions in OGR Torino, main Turin cultural institutions and independent art spaces.
We look forward to welcoming you to Torino this spring!
