proyectoamil is a mobile and fluid contemporary art platform, founded in 2010 that operates both in Lima (Peru) and Ardez (Switzerland), and serves as a bridge between the Peruvian and international art scenes. In its twelve years of sustained activity, proyectoamil has been developing artistic, editorial, residency, and educational programs. The institution hosts, produces, and commissions exhibitions, artistic interventions, and performances. The publishing program includes books, catalogs, and sound art vinyls. The artistic residencies are aimed at promoting interdisciplinary exchange and creation. It also develops a sustained experimental and collaborative public program that includes discussions, screenings, performances, concerts, workshops, and an annual educational laboratory for young artists.
