A group of 8-10 performance artists dressed as beggars and actually experience for several days the experience of begging in the street. A gallery sets up a show for a new cutting edge unknown artist, whose work consists into hanging to the walls forms of bread. A critic will introduce the bread sculptures (actual bread forms we can buy in a bakery) and build a critical concept about the new cutting edge artist's statement. An opening for the bread show will be set. The opening day, when most of the crow will be attending the 8-10 beggars will show up and literally start eating the bread forms from the wall out of a couple of days of fasting and beggar training. The gallerist and the cutting edge artist will pretend to know nothing about the beggars and act astonished, angry and worried about the bread-sculptures being eaten. No introduction or critical text of this action is proposed or published. The action will just take place resulting as a mix of fake and real elements, to propose an unknon territory for provocation, cruelty, sensationalism and happening. This action is an homage to Antonin Artaud, and was conceived and planned by Alessandro Rolandi in Beijingin 2008. SO far it has not encountered yet a structure or the support to be made.
