The Master of Management in International Arts Management (MMIAM) is a one-of-a-kind, 12-month graduate program developed through a partnership among some of the world’s top universities: HEC Montreal (Canada), Southern Methodist University (USA), and Bocconi University (Italy), with additional satellite campuses at Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and Peking University (China). The MMIAM program is dedicated to fostering a new generation of arts managers by providing a global curriculum that blends academic rigor with practical, real-world applications.
The unique program is designed to immerse students in a transformative educational journey, navigating the arts sectors across four continents. Students engage in intensive study at three main campuses in Texas, Montreal, and Milan, along with shorter sessions in Bogotá and Beijing, embracing a wide cultural and managerial spectrum. This format not only exposes students to international markets and diverse cultural policies but also fosters a deep understanding of the universal challenges and opportunities within the arts sector.
The MMIAM program is supported by a distinguished faculty, including industry leaders and academic scholars such as François Colbert, Megan Heber, and Andrea Rurale. Together with 20+ faculty, they mentor a cohort of approximately 15 students each year, representing 7 to 8 countries, all united by a common passion for the arts. The faculty is complemented by an International Advisory Board comprising over 30 globally recognized arts and culture leaders who provide invaluable insights and guidance.
